Frog Song

As a subscriber to Netflix, I've long been happy to see that there were three true Pink Films (and one Roman Porno-- the classic Wife to Be Sacrificed-- and two neo-Roman Pornos) available in their streaming service, and I've meant to watch them for quite a while. Today, however, it was announced that all three of those are going to be removed on May 15, so my procrastination has come to an end: I must watch them, take notes, and add information on them to IMDb or somewhere... So today I watched Shinji Imaoka's Frog Song (かえるのうた / 援助交際物語 したがるオンナたち - Enjo-kôsai monogatari: shitagaru onna-tachi; 2005). It wasn't bad. Not the best Pinky I've ever seen, but far from the worst too: A wistful little piece about the friendship between two young women on the brink of deciding what to do with their lives... I recommend it, definitely, for established fans of Pink cinema. For novices, I'd recommend starting with something else. Something with a little more punch... I took notes while watching it, and will use them to submit as a plot synopsis to IMDb. I'll note here when it goes live...

Both main actresses-- Konatsu and Rinako Hirasawa-- are cute, and do a fine job, but don't have that special Dekkappedian quality that I crave. So, for tonight's look at girls who really excite me, over here, on the right, we have a couple of IZM girls. I'm not sure, and a little too into my scotch & ale to do the research to figure out who they are. I'll figure out later they are later... maybe a reader can ID them before I do! Until then, happy viewing!
