Just time for a quick note tonight. Here's a DVD cover that caught my eye the other day. The mature beauty on the cover is Junko Murai (村井順子), and the DVD is titled
Incest Megaton Mama (
Konshinsôkan megaton kaasan; KOK-016), released in July of this year.
If anyone is following the
List of Video Reviews page, you'll notice that an avalanche of new Video IDs is being added to the "Videos Waiting for Review" section. I will be spending most of my online time for the next month working on building up that collection more, and probably just leave quick notices here on upcoming releases or actress information, while I'm in the midst of working on that activity.
Though the purpose of this project is mainly to build up a backlog of JAVs for reviews and images, a side benefit has already arisen: I have finally had my first look at
Kôji Wakamatsu's legendary Pink Film
Go, Go Second Time Virgin (1969). It's hard to imagine today how difficult it was to get information about Japanese pop culture in America in the early '70s, long before the Internet. I was already intensely interested in Japanese erotic entertainment at that time, and heard the title of this film within less than five years of its release, but I've never had a chance to see it. Though it's a masterpiece of pinky/violent cinema, there is nothing BBW or boob-related about it, so reviewing it here would be a little out of place... also, frankly, while AVs don't require anything but an interest in sex, I don't feel qualified to review a real film like Wakamatsu's... It's a great find though...
Another Wakamatsu film I've come across is his 1975 torture-porn opus,
100 Years of Torture: The History. This one doesn't seem to offer anything of interest either erotically or as far as cinematic quality... Coming from one of the masters of the Pink film, it still makes an interesting little curiosity for my Pink film project though...
