Debukawa 5: A Pocha-Pocha-Valentine

Once again I'm too busy to devote much time to this blog. Work has been extra-busy, plus IMDb has progressed rapidly: I finished 1999 and started collecting the data for 2000 today. So I'll have to do a quickie-post here tonight.

Two recent discoveries at Youtube-- both from "TomoNews"-- have inspired me to take another look at the "Debukawa Night" phenomenon. There was a fifth Debukawa Night held on February 15 this year at Loft. The theme was "Pocha Pocha Valentine" (ぽちゃぽちゃバレンタイン).

The first video, entitled "The giant 220 lbs adult video stars of Japan: The next big thing", makes passing referenct to a recent BBW event which may be Debukawa Night.

Above, one of our big girls-- Iori Kuroki maybe?-- flips some poor slob who tries to get fresh with her on stage.

And the other video, titled "Portly beauty pageant: 220+ lb obese women compete for title in Japan", is definitely about the event, though I'm not completely sure which one it is about-- Debukawa 4 or 5.

It includes an interview with a chubby Chinese lady whose name sounds something like "Cha-cha Chan". She approves of the event, saying that it gives larger ladies inspiration to take care of their appearance, since they are seen as attractive too.

It's becoming increasingly difficult, when researching these events, to tell which images and information refer to which of the events. Magnificent, Mysterious Chihiro

That pesky real life has slowed down my work at IMDb, but I have been able to keep working slowly but surely. Pink film submissions have gone into September 1998, and the BP/IMDb submission of IZM/ICD- videos has made it into early 2013-- ICD-211, which leaves 39 more to start. BBW lovelies who have newly-started IMDb entries thanks to these submissions include Shion Amane, Erena Natsukawa, and Maya Kashiwagi. As is my usual practice, once I have finished starting the video entries, I will start articles on the new models at BP, and add what little biographical data they will accept to IMDb.

BEHOLD!!! Chihiru!

But nevermind that shit, here comes Chihiro!!! Once in a while, during my Internet explorations, I come across an amazing discovery who I don't known how I missed, and who causes me to drop all current projects and do some immediate research. Chihiro is just such a discovery.

I haven't been able to track down any information on her except that most images of her have her face blocked out with her name in hiragana: Chihiro (ちひろ). I present for you, in this post, a few images of this mysterious stranger I found scattered around the 'Net.

She looks very familiar, and there are a couple images I know I've seen before. This one above, for example... I thought I had posted it somewhere in this blog, but can't track it down at the moment. I  certainly have it somewhere in my collection of unknowns already though.

I think the actress she reminds me of was Bonbon Ojisan's Q/R-cup Ayane (BOMC-008, BOMC-010, and BOMC-024). Her boobs, particularly in some of the clothed images, looked like Ayane. But on further investigation, their faces are quite different.

Most of these images look like they are from a blog-- writing the name over the face is a common practice at the blogs of soapland girls and AV models-- though they are well-done and racy enough that could also be from a video company or soapland at which she may work.

There is a thread on her at Chubby Parade (a site which seems to link to this blog sometimes), which dates back to December 2011.

Japanese threads on her, such as this one, go back to March 2010.

One post gives this dead link which reportedly gave her statistics as 145cm tall, with measurements 145(95)-98-115... which would mean her bust measurement equals her height, which must be rather unique.

I have found some very brief clips of her shaking her stuff. Though the direct links don't work in my browser, I was able to download them, and get a few glimpses of this amazing lady in action:

Any information anyone may have on this miraculous lady would be welcome! Let's hope the mystery of Chihiro is solved soon, and we can find a lot more images and information on this big beautiful lady!

Known Unknowns and Unknown Unknowns

I managed to catch up on my IMDb schedule, submitting Pink film entries into May, 1992. At this rate, I should be done with the year by the middle of the month... But tonight let's pause and look at a few choice ladies I've stumbled across in my searches, and set aside for closer admiration, but whom I can't identify.

First up is this cheerful, full-figured lass I found in a Google-cached image search. The image's site had replaced this image with another girl's. It seems to be from a soapland/deli-health... If she hasn't appeared in DVDs, let's hope she does! Look at that sweet smile, those apple-red cheeks, and those... apples! [P.S. February 5: I suspect this may be Sora Nanami (七海そら), the new GAS girl from GAS-256. I've found new images of her looking similar to this, which I'll post soon.]

I found this image at a blog. It appears to advertise a site or DVD, but the link went to a generic porn site that appeared to have nothing to do with the image... The girl on the right interests me most, and I think I've seen her before, but can't place her... The text in the image says "Lake of Booze / Forest of Flesh; Chubby / Lesbian..." (I can't quite make out the first two characters ("Kyu/air", something) but it seems to be the name of an establishment.) Whatever it is, booze + Asian BBWs sounds like my idea of paradise!

This incredibly gorgeous woman was posted without information on tumblr. Judging from her face, she might not be Japanese, but that's just a guess...

This buxom vixen was also on tumblr. The image contains a watermark that goes to a site for finding Chinese wives. Her face does look Chinese-- though I rather doubt she's available at any pen-pal marriage club... I also have some doubts as to whether this image is completely authentic. For one thing, her boobs look Caucasian...

...Yulia Nova comes to mind...

...and for another thing, the image was found along with the one of Saori Hara above left, which is obviously a faked-up version of the real one, on the right, so both images could be work from the same Photoshopper...

Amy Villainous as Velma Dinkley

And we'll wrap up this session with a couple of Americans. Above is a woman who seems to be engaged in a US cosplay version of Scooby Doo, Where Are You!'s Velma Dinkley. The lady does an excellent job of filling in the character.

Velma, above left, was smart, thick and solid, short and buxom, wore glasses, and had strong, thick legs ... I could never understand why the guys were always fawning over Daphne when Velma was my dream girl... That's Daphne above, right. Nothing against Daphne, but if you'd take her before Velma, you're obviously at the wrong blog!

...And finally, this appears just to be a lady. A beautiful, smiling lady. Probably not an actress or any other kind of public performer, but good God, what a vision of loveliness!

As the research and discoveries march on, any help in turning up information identifying any of these charming women would be appreciated!

Farewell, Horny Fat Woman series, #41-45

We now come to the bittersweet climax of our visits with those Horny Fat Women. #41 is not at Arzon, but #42 and #43 both have release dates of March 1, 2003. #44 and #45 of April 25, 2003. AV-Channel gives the presumed re-release dates as: #41: 2006/11/16; #42: 2007/02/14; #43: 2007/02/28; #44: 2007/03/08; and #45: 2007/03/22. And at that point, as far as I can determine, those Horny Fat Women had come to the end of their run. So pull up a chair, wipe a tear away, and take a final look at our hefty ladies:The name of this lovely lady is given as "Hana" on the video box. I think I recognize her from another series, but the name doesn't ring a bell.This lovely lady's name is given as "Momo". Her face reminds me of Naomi Tani, a Naomi Tani who had gained a few pounds... Tune in next week to see what new series will fill the void left in the wake of these pulchritudinous plumpers!

Horny Fat Woman Series: #36-40

We come now to our penultimate visit with those hefty, horny, fun and fat ladies. What will be our next Sunday project following next week's completion of this series of Pocchari pretties? I've no idea... some obscure nugget from the past with some impact on the pocchari movement would be nice, if I can locate another... But let's cross that bridge when we come to it. For now, set your mind at ease, and let's enjoy volumes 36-40 of those unsung pioneers of pocchari pulchritude, the Horny Fat Women... This is the lady we saw yesterday in the group photo of the "Debukawa Night" with Usagi Minagi.Arzon gives April 24, 2002 as the release dates for #36. The next release in the series listed at Arzon is #42, which is dated as a March 2003 release. So I'd say all five of these videos were originally released in 2002. AV-channel gives what I assume to be re-release dates as: #36: 2006/09/15; #37: 2006/09/21; #38: 2006/09/29; #39: 2006/11/02; and #40: 2006/11/10.

Pre-mature Celebration

After today's work I have only 25 more posters left to identify in the pre-1990 Pink film archive Picasaweb album. This project should be done by the end of the week, at which point I will concentrate on starting new film entries at IMDb for the posters to films not yet there.
In anticipation of the impending attainment of that milestone, let's do a little pre-mature celebrating. I don't know the meaning of the festival in which the gorgeous young lady at left is participating, nor do I know her name or anything about her or the picture, which I found somewhere on the 'Net, or even if it is a festival. But like my post on the cosplay beauties a couple weeks ago, I know what I like!


And at right, two of our favorites, Sara Aikawa and Juri Morozuki pose together at an IZM event. Maybe not a celebration, technically, but why nitpick? Let's imagine those "V" for "Victory" signs are for this stage of the Pink Film project as it nears completion. Gambatte, Dekkappai-san! Well, girls. Make an appearance in a Pink film yourselves, and I will be honored to get IMDb entries for you too... Although I suppose I could try starting IMDb entries on IZM/JAMS and other pocchari AV DVDs... but I fear that way lies madness...

The Final Stretch

Since I had caught up on my backlog of prepared IMDb posters/new films, I spent the morning uploading new posters to the pre-1990 archive, and one to the post-1990 one. I'm roaring to the end of my Picasaweb image-identification project for the pre-1990 archive. Less than 50 images to go now. Work at IMDb is picking up steam too, with the end of the posters in sight. Once I reach the end of the pre-1990s, I'll stall on the Picasaweb IDing until I finish submitting all the poster links, and start IMDb entries for the films that need them.

As I head into the final stretch of this part of my Pink film / IMDb project, I thought this would be a good opportunity to ogle a beautiful lady doing her own stretches. Who she is and what this image is from, I don't know. But... I KNOOOOW what I like!

Horny Fat Woman series, #31-35

This week's visit with the Horny Fat Women turns up a veritable mountain range of pocchari pulchritude. Pound-for-pound, I think we get more value from these ladies than any of our previous groups of five. I think I recognize a couple faces, but couldn't place them without doing more research than time will allow at present. Arzon doesn't give listings for these entries in the series, but their dating of previous and subsequent videos indicates these would have been first released about 2000. AV-Channel gives what I presume are re-release dates for #31: July 5, 2006, #32 & #33: July 11, 2006, #34: July 25, 2006 and #35: September 7, 2006. And without further ado, sit back and brace yourself!

Horny Fat Woman Series: #26-30

I've been hard at work all week continuing to add captions to my Pink film Picasa albums, and to link those images of Pink film posters to their respective IMDb entries. Today I pause in that noble project of spreading the joy of Japanese erotic entertainment at a big site, to do some catching-up on this little blog. The posts of the past two weeks or so have been sketched out with notes for subjects, and I'll finish and post a few today. Note on my philosophy of bloggery: I consider each of these posts a mini essay which can be touched-up, edited, posted, or even deleted at a later date. So any readers out there may see changes (improvements, I hope) in any older post whenever the inspiration strikes. Since I consider posts to be essays in progress, changes are made without notice or explanation. But enough blather. Our weekly visit with the horny fat women is at hand! Today we have entries #26 through #30 to gander at. I have no comments to make on any one of them except to say I'd flip each and every one of these ladies in a nonce with relish. Enjoy!
