End of the year report / New Year plan

Again I've been putting off posting here. First let's take a look back at the previous year, and then look ahead to what I plan to do in 2015.

All data on Pink films in World Filmography 1967, submitted to IMDb this year

IMDb work in 2014 was been more diverse than the previous two, and that kept my interest going. Besides continuing work on the main, long-term project I started a couple years ago of starting an entry for every Pink film released from 1990-present, I added as much info as I could on every Pink film released in 1967 & 1968, based on entries in Cowie's World Filmography 1967 and World Filmography 1968. I finished 1967, but am only about a quarter of the way through 1968.

IMDb announced they had re-opened submissions for awards ceremonies this year, and this enabled me to start up a long-desired project there. The Pink Film Award page was accepted, and proved to be a lot of work. These pages are still difficult to contribute to, and I haven't yet figured out how to add data on the event itself-- location, date and time of the ceremonies-- which I see in some other award pages. Still it's nice to see the major award of the Pink film world represented at IMDb, even if it's going to take a long time to get it all posted. In December I started adding the Pink films released in 2014-- there were only 38 of them-- and I've almost got them finished now.

As planned at the beginning of the year, I took some time off straight Pink film work at IMDb to submit some BBW/busty AVs. I was surprised at how quickly and painlessly these were accepted. Earlier in the year I added entries for the ICD, JAMS, and MAGURO, labels, and in late December I brought them up to date. In the process of adding those DVD, many of our favorite BBW models got their own IMDb entries. When I had them, I linked IMDb to my blog reviews of those videos.

In November I undertook the largest sub-project of the AV project: The 342 GAS DVDs. This brought me in communication with none other than Akira Takatsuki  himself, and he emailed me release dates on some of the earlier DVDs in the series. In order to fill out their filmographies a little, I also added a few miscellaneous video releases starring busty/BBW icons like Kimiko Matsuzaka and Mariko Morikawa, who already had entries at IMDb due to one or two Pink films they'd appeared in. Though IMDb is pretty stingy about accepting it, I was able to add a little basic biographical data to the actress' entries when I could: Birthplace, height, and links to official and miscellaneous sites. With all the above work, I wound up with the highest ranking of my IMDb career: #48 on the list of top contributors for the year.

The biggest new event relevant to the blog would be my discovery, in early October, of the mighty resource that is Twitter. I'd heard about it, but thought it was just for teenaged girls sending each other giggly messages. Little did I realize what a valuable source it is for keeping up on the latest activities of my favorite personnel.

Surprisingly, the response from these people has been generally very positive and fun. Akira Takatsuki helped me with info on the Cinema Unit GAS releases, Sara Aikawa gave me an explanation of her nickname ("Batty"), and Miyabi Hayama, Mika Hoshima, and Masaki Amamiya have all been fun to chat with, in my broken Japanese...

Among the bad news of the year was the latest in my long-running series of computer disasters, which resulted in the (hopefully) temporary loss of all the data on my 4-terrabyte external hard drive. Videos, stills, screencaps, reviews, research, etc. are all unavailable to me now... I'm still in the process of trying to recover as much as I can before re-formatting it, and then wondering how much I can trust it, or WHAT is trust-worthy in digital formats... The loss of access to this material, which I've collected online for the past two decades, was a major set-back to posting at this blog, and dealt a major blow to my enthusiasm in working with computers at all.

My enthusiasm for this hobby waned considerably in the last couple months of last year. I'm not sure why-- It's not due to any battles with censors, drama-mongers, opinionated idiots, or other bureaucratic bone-headedness, which caused my departures from Wikipedia and Wikia. Maybe it was because of the computer/Internet disasters which strike so regularly, and result in so much lost/repeated work. Also, as I'm getting older, the desire to do something of my own-- rather than cataloguing the work of others-- becomes strong now and then... but it passes. Whether this work of my own will be writing, composing, or something else I've dabbled in in the past, I'm not sure. Maybe I just needed a temporary down-time before diving back into IMDb/Japanese/Korean stuff. I spent those months browsing around on the Internet, reading a lot (Steinbeck, Thomas Hardy, and now Haruki Murakami), watching a lot of movies (westerns, Pink, sci-fi, film noir), listening to a lot (Bach, Russian opera, Khachaturian, Sibelius...) in limbo between major projects.

Anyway, last week I got back on track. It turns out I was just hungry for a new direction. A project I've had in the back of my mind for a long time now has been to start a BBW AV database similar to my two Pink film databases (Pre-1990 Pink Film Archive and Pink Film Archive). I've got both Pink Film archives full and stable enough that I'm just adding things when I come across them now. Every month when the new Pink releases are announced, I identify, translate and upload them within half an hour. My goal for the new BBW AV database will be the same: Upload all the old ones I already know, get a good, solid representation of the Busty/BBW genre throughout in JAV history, then get the system honed so that whenever I come across a new VHS or DVD cover, I can upload it and identifying information, in proper chronological order, within a couple minutes.

Like with the other databases, they would function as informational displays of images on their own (though, unfortunately, they get very little traffic), but they would also serve their IMDb pages by linking to the corresponding Picasaweb image (my Picasaweb Pink film folders do get a lot of traffic). A complete Pink film database project is impossible enough. Attempting a complete AV one would be insane. Instead I'll just focus on the busty/BBW genre (even that will be impossible enough), linking the cover images to the videos/DVDs I've added to IMDb, and creating IMDb listings for the significant ones that aren't already there.

To get my feet wet, figure out what would work well, and set up a format, I started on a smaller series: the 62 JAMS SND- DVDs. Once I was able to get adding these DVDs down to a quick and efficient process, I took up a more challenging series, the early BBW VHS "Horny Fat Woman" tapes, FDS-. These were more difficult because they often don't name their models, and the exact release dates aren't known. I worked out some ways of compensating for this. I don't think a series like this-- all unknown/amateurs-- needs to be at IMDb (though unlike Wikipedia, I would not stand in the way of anyone who wanted to do the work to add them), but I did submit the two tapes which had major early BBW stars. This means that the incredible BBW pioneers Yôko Koizumi and Anna Watarai are now listed at IMDb! This has inspired me to spend the year in deep research into BBW/busty JAV, making entries for as many as I can at this archive, and starting entries for most of them at IMDb.

So, in a nutshell, 2015 is going to be The Year of the BBW JAV!: The new database will keep me busy, and I'll be spreading the joy of Japanese BBW-dom by adding the data and linking the images to IMDb. I'll also continue maintaining Pink film blog/IMDb entries at a slower pace than previous years, and posts at this blog will probably continue to be skimpy throughout the year... certainly until I'm able to recover my external hard disk data. With this long-contemplated JAV database started, the only other future project I am thinking about is a Personnel database, giving images and biographical data on Actresses, Directors, and anyone else I can track down who works in the Pink and/or JAV fields... Next up on our review of AVs we've actually seen is the Yuuki Manaka / Tamaki Yasuoka opus, Incest: My Busty Sister and Mother (Madonna; November 25, 2009; JUC-206). We gave this video a fairly thorough look back in January, based on publicity information and images. On actually viewing this video, I find it has much more story content, better photography, and all-around quality than those I've seen before, while still not skimping on the sex. I think this is my favorite that I've seen since watching these JAVs over the past couple weeks. The presence of two of my favorite actresses helps things considerably, of course...

The video starts with sexy Mama Yasuoka doing some laundry, then telling her son to go wake up daughter-- Yuuki Manaka, who sleeps with one boob hanging out, which helpful brother tries to tuck in... The real surprise of this video, given its more story-based plot, is that Tamaki Yasuoka is not only physically perfect for these motherly roles, she's also quite a good actress for the AV genre. I hope some Pink film director takes note and uses her in a real, theatrical film. I'm sure she could handle the acting, and an actress with her figure would certainly be a bonus for us fans of larger ladies and Pink films both...

After sis is woken up, the family heads to the bathroom for some bathing. Brother is shy around his hyper-busty mama and sister, and sister is rather dismissive of his modesty. Yuuki Manaka comes off as a bit snotty in this video, and consequently I didn't find her as attractive in this one as in other videos in which I've seen her. But that's no doubt just because of the older-sister role she plays here...

On the IMDb front, I finished all the translation of credits for 1994 Pink film releases. I submitted nine new titles, and edited two existing one. The new titles were: Namadori honban: Hard vibe lez, Wakazuma shin'nyû: Inran mamire, Elevator bôkô-ma, Hitozuma honban: Furin aji-kurabe, Chikan densha: Iro-gurui fûfu, Tsure komi ryokan no waka okami, Chikan densha: Etchi ga daisuki!, Onna kachô no nama shitagi: Anata o shibaritai (poster above, starring Nao Saejima), Fukushû seihanzai: Hakudaku rape, and I edited: Iruka wa umi ni kaeru, and Honban rezu: Hazukashii taii.

I got a quick reply back from IMDb today, saying that all my image links had been accepted. So that's something anyway... I wrote back linking to the film entries at which they had been removed. We'll see what happens next...
Here at this blog, I started a page listing the models I mention in these posts. I'll probably tinker around with it adding things as I think of them. It's not even finished in first draft yet, but here's the link. It should be useful for looking for certain girls, and browsing through all the posts, it's given me ideas for old friends to visit again soon...

Speaking of which, one of our best old friends is the lovely Yuuki Manaka, whose DVD, Miwaku no nôpanpansuto: Bakunyû jokyōshi Manaka Yûki (魅惑のノーパンパンスト　爆乳女教師真中ゆうき; MAGURO-021; October 2011) we see above.We looked at a few images from this DVD in a post back in December, but I've found a couple more that are worth sharing.

This one alone justifies a new look at this DVD...The roundness, fullness, and color of Yuuki's legs, butt and thighs are just breath-taking. The rest of her, as well, are absolutely awe-inspiring. As always, I can do without the guy, but he is barely even noticed in the overpowering presence of Yuuki...

And in this image, a couple of gents come across the drowsy Ms. Manaka in some public place-- a subway, maybe, in reference to the Chikan densha / Molester Train series?... Besides Yuuki's legs and thighs, which are wonders of our age, the expression of the guy on the right is priceless...

I may have more useful images of this DVD I'll add later. But for now, I'll leave off with this for tonight, so I can dig into work on the Pink Film poster project. I finished linking between the Picasaweb albums & the blog through 2001 this morning. If IMDb gets the link problem fixed, I might wind up back there again, and I want to have my own Pink Film Archive blogs in good shape before that...

Three O's: Tamaki, Yuuki & Kaori in OONIKU-011

As predicted, my enthusiasm for IMDb has waned since they pulled the plug on the links to my Pink film poster images, and I haven't done any work for them in the past three days. On the other hand, a couple of new comments on my Pink Film blogs, from a fellow blogger and Pink Film fan, have me looking at that project in a new light. I may work on making these self-sufficient projects on Pink Film. I'll link to IMDb from them, rather than counting on IMDb to link to them. I'll add information at IMDb for the films that need entries, so that my blog will have something to link to...

Tonight let's see what's up with our old buddy, MAGURO. The latest title from the label is Nikuyoku hôman fuzokuten: Nikuyoku ni nureta otome no yoru no potchari seikan (肉欲豊満風俗店　肉欲に塗れた男と女の夜のぽっちゃり性感; OONIKU-011). Released on the fifteenth, the DVD features five actresses, and claims no less than three (3) O-cup girls. It's a compilation DVD-- each girl seems to be on her own in her scenes, rather than having them all together. I've seen at least some of these images before, so it might be all recycled material, or it could be a mix of old and new...

Our beloved Tamaki Yasuoka (under her alias Tomomi Nagamine, 永峰朋美) is the first in our trio of O-cups. I don't remember ever seeing the scene shown above, so I guess it is new to this DVD. And a new look at Tamaki is always worth having.

The second O-cup is our beloved Yuuki Manaka (真中ゆうき), seen here in images I've had for a few years. Yuuki has one of the nicest, thickest pair of legs-- especially thighs-- in the Japanese AV industry. This fat-leg fetish of mine usually gets little satisfaction from Japanese AVs, but several of Yuuki's directors have made good use of this attribute.

...and the third O is body-to-die-for Masked Kaori (かおり), who is featured on the DVD cover. These images, from a scene previously unknown to me, prove that Kaori's boobs are a beautiful sight to behold either from above or below.

Now, it's true that Tamaki and Yuuki have always been known as M-cups, but a little poetic license is allowable, I guess... and it's possible to expand over the years too... Regardless, a line-up of three stunners like this is certainly worth a look. The cast also includes Haruka Sakurai (桜井遥 aka Koko Todoroki - 轟ここ) and Shizuka Takasaki (高崎静香).

Back in November 2009, the Madonna label had the brilliant idea of joining two of our favorite models-- Yuuki Manaka and Tamaki Yasuoka-- in an incest-themed DVD entitled Incest: Bomber-Boobs Mother, Older Sister and Me (Konshin sôkan: Bakunyû haha ane to boku. - 近親相姦 爆乳母姉と僕。; JUC-206), or "Mother and Elder Sister Big Boobs" as it is rendered in English on the cover.

Legs!

Once again, I must pause to indulge what I think may be my oddest, and probably strongest fetish: Fat legs. As if to confirm my suspicions that this is not a very common fixation, my posts on this subject have been among my least popular. But so be it. Above we have an image of a postcard from Bamforth I came across at an auction site while researching this post. Guess which pair of legs I like...

Above a fellow-traveler makes a scrumptious discovery in the person of Nozomi Baba (馬場のぞみ) in MAGURO-037... My other fixations can be justified one way or another, I think, through pseudo-scientific rationalization... Big boobs-- Boobs have a biological purpose, in nurturing babies; Big asses: Big, strong hips are sign of good baby-bearing ability, Glasses: A cultural stereotype for intelligence. But big, fat, soft legs? Especially that bend behind the knee? Of what practical use are they? I don't know, and I don't know why I do, but I love, love, LOVE 'EM!!!

This is one obsession of mine that is really not very well covered in JAV. I have to really hunt around for the few examples that catch my eye. Here is a shot of that behind-the-knee area I am talking about. This is from Timio Juveronup's first opus from his new Dekajiri label, Dekajiri dot com 1 (デカ尻ドットコム1; DJ-001). We covered this DVD in a post at the end of last month.

Like all my "big" fixations, shape, I think, is more important than volume. For example this image of Rose Aoyama and Shizuko Fujiki from MAGURO-035, covered in a post last week, shows Rose's legs as just big, without the shapeliness I like. She is, overall, just plain big in the lower regions, but to be fair to the girl, this image does seem to distort her proportions. The high heels emphasize her legs the wrong way. She's not at all unattractive.


Very big legs, as long as they're shapely, are also very attractive. All known images of this extraordinary girl were posted on August 30. As Ralph Kramden so eloquently put it: Hamana-hamana-hamana...

Yuuki Manaka is another big girl with nice, big, soft legs. We previously devoted a post to the admiration of her gorgeous gams on August 10, the above image from which is truly my idea of a glimpse of Heaven.

Regardless your opinion of the attractiveness of fat legs, any guy lucky enough to have had an Asian lady clean his ears the traditional way should surely agree that a skinny-legged girl just can't provide the comfort that nice, cushiony legs like Yuuki's can... So I guess there is at least one practical use for them!

Here another favorite, Tamaki Yasuoka displays her own charms. She's got a bit of cottage cheese on her upper leg, which is not part of my particular perfect-leg aesthetic. I like dimples on the butt, but can take it or leave them on the leg. While I don't find it particularly disagreeable, it's one of the few parts of the whole Tamaki package which I don't find to be absolutely perfect. Leg-wise, I have to give the nod to Karen Toudou's soft, white pillowish gams...

Speaking of which, here they are. As far as the legs presented here today, I suppose these are my ideal. Man, how I enjoy sticking my face between legs like that... Hamana-hamana-hamana...
