IZM at IMDb!

I hope I'll be forgiven for skipping this week's video review. I'm all on fire with a new IMDb project, and don't want to take time out from it and lose my momentum. After starting an IMDb page for Sofia Rose (which now has links to her official site), by creating a page for her 2007 IZM DVD, I decided to take the first dive in my plan to start IMDb pages this year for some of our favorite Japanese BBWs. I worked through the entire IZM filmography that I had submitted to Boobpedia-- that is, all the busty releases from ICD-01 to ICD-173 (December 2005 - January 2012). In the process of entering these DVDs, pages were started for the major, BBW actresses who starred in them. I haven't been starting pages for ALL the IZM releases, just those of interest to myself and followers of this blog. Strangely enough, the pages for the actresses have been popping up fast, but the DVD releases have been slower. Usually it's the other way around at IMDb-- the film gets accepted quickly, but they're slow to start pages for people. Among the big, beautiful Japanese beauties who have pages started for them in the last few days were:
Now at IMDb: Airi Ai
Airi Ai
Alice Komuro
Chii Asahina
Erika
Giant Maho
Hiromi Kishikawa
Hiyoko Makino
Iori Kuroki
Jun Morikawa
Juri Morozuki
Juria Yuki
Now gracing IMDb: Konata Yûsei
Konata Yûsei
Koron Kanzaki
Kurumi Toyoda
Kyôko Kusanagi
Love Fujishiro
Madam Keiko
Maika Sakura
Marimo Momoi
Maron Maju
Masae Ômori
Masaki Amamiya
Mei Kayama
Miyabi Hayama
Moe Asakura
Momoka Hayama
Nano Rikukawa
Naoko Ôsako
Purin Momoaya
Ran Yamagishi
Reo Sakuragi
Riria Misaki now at IMDb!
Riria Misaki
Rui Ôhashi
Ruki Shibuya
Saki Rukawa
Sakura Toyohara
Satsuki Anzai
Serina
Shizuka Kyôno
Shôko Ishida
Shokora Minami
Yôka Mizushima
Yuria Kizuki
Yû Hazawa
Yui Igarashi
Yuzu Kawai
And the directors Ryudai and Magi. Also, of course, IZM itself has a page started.
Iori Kuroki's IMDb page, already substantial
You'll notice some of these pages already have some basic actress information-- links to homepages/blogs, and Iori Kuroki even has her height. Though I am amazed at how fast IMDb took these submissions-- it used to take about a week to get a new name on the site-- unfortunately, they remain very reluctant to take personal information. Birth/death days even with good sources are often rejected.

It was a lot of work, but since I had already collected and translated all the info for Boobpedia, it went a lot faster than it would have otherwise. I should update the IZM filmography at Boobpedia, but first I'll do a few other series: Maguro, JAMS, etc.

Karen Toudou: First in the second part of this project
What's exciting about this stage of my IMDb inputting hobby is that the IMDb is a good, reliable, mainstream source for information on the entertainment industry, so now the names of these rather niche-interest Japanese BBW beauties are available to a wider audience, and, hopefully, somewhat immortalized by being part of a major site. Eventually I'd like to put up some reviews on the DVDs, and some mini-biographies for the girls at IMDb. My only regret is that I haven't yet got to some of my favorite non-IZM babes yet. Tomorrow I plan on starting on JAMS, so you're coming up next, Tamaki Yasuoka, Yuuki Manaka, and Karen Toudou (already started her!)!!!

Great Expectations from IZM

Most of the day was spent watching and taking notes on the Pink Film Sex Machine on Netflix-- three true Pink Films are available there now, and they're all to be taken off on May 15. It's a very good, funny, odd little film, and I do recommend it for anyone wanting to get a taste of Pink before it's removed. Soo I did not do much IMDb work or Boob-research today.
However there is new of great things to come from IZM. These esteemed organization coyly hints at a new discovery, presenting the image of the fine lady we see above. No information yet, but obviously, we will be watching the skies for more information on this find...
****************
8/12/2013: P.S.: The name of this lady is Ami Fukumori, and the image is to advertise her co-starring DVD with Sara Aikawa, IZM-230, due out on August 22, 2013.

Coco-chan wa koko

In Boobpedlian news, the fine folks at IZM have announced their latest opus, Muchimuchi man-niku TANK (むちむち満肉TANK - IZM-184) starring the imminently qualified Ms. Coco (left and below).

The completion of uploading the backlog to my Pink Film Archive nears today as I finish the first run-through of the Nakamura Eigeki sorting project: the numerical listing of posters. Now I just have to run through the alphabetical lists-- which sometimes have slightly better images and fuller film descriptions-- and sort them into my film files, then I'm done with this part of the Pink Film Archive work. Still remaining will be only smaller projects: Cleaning old posters and scanning images from books and magazines... and, of course, eternal vigilance and constant updates... and linking it all into IMDb...

All the Boob News that's Fit to Print

As far as work on the Pink Film archives, I spent most of the week sorting and categorizing several dozen large (400px) Pink film poster images from Shizukatsu Theatre. I had dug them up out of a search through the Internet Archive a few years ago, back when I was under the mistaken impression that "the sum of human knowledge" included Japanese cinema, cult films, and softcore erotic cinema, and that contributions to these realms of knowledge would be welcome. Anyway, that work is not wasted, since these posters will soon be posted at my Pink Film blog(s), and eventually linked from IMDb. I'm back to sorting through the Nakamura Eigeki 181-px posters now.

Several events in the Japanese branch of the Boobpedian universe demand our attention today. Since CNN has probably neglected these news stories, allow me to present them. First, the great Miyabi Hayama made her final public appearance today, according to the IZM blog. Say goodbye to Miyabi, above right. Gone but never to be forgotten.

Though Ms. Hayama's magnificent presence will be sorely missed, IZM's stable of big, beautiful, bouncy babes still thrives. Iori Kuroki announced a new IZM DVD, Bakunyû chi-fujin (爆乳痴夫人; ICD-183). Madam Kuroki would probably be much more a favorite of mine had I not seen images of her smoking... Smoking, piercing or tattoos... Dekkappai just says, "No". Dekkappai says "Yes" to booze!

The grand Ms. Sara Aikawa, at right, appears in her new IZM DVD Chô shiri nikukai (超尻肉塊; ICD-182). And below, our protagonist in the video measures up the Herculean labor ahead of him.

Meanwhile over at the JAMS' blog, new images of the always-welcome Tamaki Yasuoka have been posted. Here she is, at left, in her JAMS DVD, WZA-04.

These Guns Don't Argue!

Boobpedia news flash!!! IZM announces the return of the spectactular Yui Igarashi (left)! Touting an awe-inspiring 146(Q)-79-124 figure, Yui's two previous appearances have also been with IZM: 146-centimeter Huge Melon Breasts (146cmのデカメロン乳 - 146 cm no dekameron chichi; ICD-141; January 2011) and Super-Boob Princess (超乳姫 - Chounyuu hime; ICD-157; July 2011). Below she is seen in her newest DVD release, Super Big Peach Tits 149cm! (超巨大桃乳149cm - Chôkyodai momo chichi 149 cm; ICD-179), which just came out on March 24.

I decided to doze of with a crime/noir selection, and picked Guns Don't Argue (1957). Someone at IMDb correctly calls it Hooverite revisionism. And that's exactly what it is, of course, no doubt about that. OK. Now, about the movie: It's an entertaining little crime flick with a rock-bottom budget, strung together from three episodes of the Gang Busters TV show. The featured criminals are Pretty Boy Floyd, Ma Barker & her brood, and Dillinger. The latter is played by Myron Healey best known (to me, anyway) for appearing in the U.S. additional footage to Varan the Unbelievable (1962). Entertaining, cheap historical fantasy. Five out of Ten.

M-m-m-BOY!

I finished the BOMC series, up to the most recent release-- BOMC-029, details of which were made available during the couple days I was working on the series. This ends my first stab at the series on a spectacular high note-- A T-cup, no less. Let's see how long that record holds. After that I slowed down a bit, perusing sites for other series to start or update. IZM has three new DVDs out, so I started articles on them. I downloaded their new Masaki Amamiya video clip (Masaki seen at right) which greatly meets with my hearty approval. M-m-m-BOY! That's one fine chunk of woman! "Warmth in the winter and shade in the summer," as the man says.

After the editing, I flopped out out the Mill Creek Comedy box again and watched Peck's Bad Boy with the Circus (RKO, 1938) with Edgar Kennedy, William Demarest, Spanky MacFarland, and Billy Gilbert, and directed by Eddie Kline. Decent little B-movie comedy, the one really funny scene was with Kennedy "taiming" two lions who had just been drugged with sleeping pills, and trying to make them appear ferocious enough to give the audience a thrill. A nice touch is when he trips on one of the dozing felines on his way out of the cage, and the lion looks up and yawns. The director didn't quite milk that scene for its potential worth though... Eddie Kline's kind of an odd duck anyway-- He directed some of the greatest comedies of all time-- Keaton's One Week, W.C. Fields' The Bank Dick and Never Give a Sucker an Even Break), yet he actually doesn't seem to really have been much of a director. He wasn't consistent. His stars handled the show. In fact I think I read where Fields requested Kline to direct Bank Dick and Never Give a Sucker an Even Break, because the studio wouldn't let him-- Fields-- direct, but he knew Kline wouldn't object to Fields saying how things should be done. Peck's Bad Boy gave Edgar Kennedy a chance for a bigger role, to show off his talents as he does in his classic Laurel & Hardy and Marx Brothers (Duck Soup) appearances, though, of course, this film doesn't compare at all to those classics, or to the classics Kline directed. Or, for that matter, the classic Laurel & Hardy films Edgar Kennedy himself directed (You're Darn Tootin' for one). All-in-all a decent, though not spectacular, way to pass 65 minutes. It gave a few laughs. Click here, and watch it for yourself. After that I watched the Laurel and Hardy short, Double Whoopee (1929), the "talkie" version that Chuck McCann dubbed over the original silent in the '60s. Absolutely hilarious, with great bits from L&H regulars Charlie Hall and Tiny Sandford.

Something to Do with Death

I finished getting the Cinema Unit GAS DVDs up-to-date last week, and continue my work on JAMS today. I started two more articles on DVDs in their New Sexy Zone series this morning-- "Flopped out a coupla quicklies" as I am wont to say when I'm in the mood to amuse, confuse, and bemuse myself. I finished the New Sexy Zone series in the evening. Traditional S/M-type stuff of the Japanese variety (men abusing women) never interested me. I find it childish and silly. Ditto the European/American variety: Primitive cosplay. But I have to admit I find these types of videos-- JAMS and IZM-- or at least the video clips, screen shots and DVD covers, which is all I see of them-- to have a certain undeniable charm. Big, bountiful, buxom Asian women pulverize their little male partners. Ah life...

Karen ToudouYours truly, old Dekkappai, has reached the point in his life when mortality is pressing its nose against, and fogging up the window of his consciousness. What did the great men do when faced with thoughts of death? Sibelius responded with his Fourth Symphony. Kurosawa responded with Ikiru. And Dekkappai? He wonders how he can sneak out as easily, quickly and painlessly as possible, hoping that he doesn't make too much of a fool of himself in the process-- blubbering and whimpering or shitting his pants or something... What have I ever asked from life? Big, fleshy-assed, thick-legged, soft-bellied, buxom Asian women. And my life has been blessed in that regard. So, should a long, drawn-out, humiliating death be imminent, and pre-emption by euthanasia look like the best way out, here is how I want to exit this vale of tears: Death by suffocation. Smothered between the breasts and/or buttocks, of a big, fat, bouncy, beautiful Asian lass. (Pictured at right: Karen Toudou unsheathing one of the weapons of mercy by which I, Dekkappai, wish to meet my demise.) Oh, death, where is thy sting?

During the day I gathered the data for my next Boobpedia project, a new series which features supposedly amateur women with immense bazooms. I say "supposedly" because experienced actresses pretending to be amateurs has a long and respected history in Japanese AV. (Something like Wakamatsu's "Second-Time Virgin") And I think-- at first glance-- that I've seen a couple of these gals before... although I can only judge from their breasts, their faces being covered to protect their privacy... or to create the illusion of it. I'll start a few stubs on the new actresses in the JAMS series tomorrow, then start the new DVD series. After my Boobpedia work for the evening, I made my first post here on this blog, about the activities of the previous day, and their distantly-related ramblings, grumblings and rants. That's probably how I'll do things here, or gather up bits and pieces until I've got enough to post. Post it. Then fiddle around with it forever.

Poster to KeomaAfter turning off the computer I watched one of my Mill Creek Spaghetti Westerns, Keoma (1976). It being a late entry in the spaghetti cycle, I wasn't expecting much. But it turned out to be pretty damned good, the last gasp of life from a genre on its death bed. It's an anti-racist statement-- with good old Woody Strode in a supporting role. It had one flaw, however, and that one flaw was so major it will, all by itself, prevent me from watching the film again. That flaw: The soundtrack. Oh sweet Jesus in heaven, just thinking about it makes me cringe. It's an unbearable and interminable narrative ballad which runs through the film, commenting on the action. It's sung by a shrill, screechy-voiced woman apparently trying to imitate Joan Baez or Joni Mitchell, or some folk-pop singer of the 1960s. I prayed, I begged, for another singer to take over. Anyone, I thought, would be better. Then-- God be praised!-- another singer took over! A man... but... wait a minute... good God... he's even WORSE than the woman! I kid you not! He sang like a man who had had a tracheotomy. Nothing against people with tracheotomies, but should they really be singing film soundtracks? Anyway, the male singer's tuneless moaning and mumbling made me miss the shrieking of the old crone... but not for long, as she soon relieved the male crooner.Shizuka Kyouno in Step-Mother's Huge, Fat Tits: Shizuka Kyouno If I could have turned off just the music it would have been a fine little film... I find out from IMDb that the male singer was none other than Franco Nero-- who, in the role of Keoma, was the star of the film. Well, he should have stuck to acting... Hearing that god-awful racket made me think that the poor guy needed to be put out of his misery. I prayed for his and my delivery from this pitiful, excruciating wailing. Over on the right, Nero, there's your relief from suffering, in the body of that angel of mercy, Shizuka Kyouno, in her starring role in Step-Mother's Huge, Fat Tits: Shizuka Kyouno.
