In Memoriam Max-Body: Free Keiko Saito!

Max-Body is now, sadly, closed

Asato of Max-Body (above)

I come bearing bad tidings tonight. A tip from reader Brandt confirms our worst fears about our friends at Max-Body have come true. I had noted lately that the site seemed to be down. Now I know the reason. The Japan Times ran a story on July 17 titled "Tokyo cops bust Max Body ring of hefty hookers", and Yahoo ran the same story the day before. Max-Body's owner, 41-year-old Keiko Saito, was accused of running the club in Taito Ward, Tokyo, as a call-girl prostitution service. Saito employed 31 big girls averaging 100kg, the heaviest of whom was 155kg. An 80kg girl who worked there was reported to be an active AV performer-- we can probably figure out who she is with a little research... Max Body's fees were ¥15,000 for the first hour.

Anzu of Max Body

It is my understanding that prostitution (interpreted as selling "penetrative sex") is illegal in Japan, but that the vibrant "soapland" / "deli-health" (delivery-"soapland") industry gets around this law by supplying everything-but-penetrative sex-- i.e., massage, paizuri, hand-jobs, fellatio (I think), etc. Just as long as tab A doesn't go into slot B, the letter of the law is observed... But apparently Max-Body crossed that line... Tokyo Reporter ran an article last week on the raid titled, "Big bust shows guys still hankering for hefty hookers", and another article today titled "Japanese males’ interest in heavy honeys extends beyond sex industry" uses the arrest to delve a bit further into the new appreciation for BBWs in Japanese society, mentioning the DVD studios JAMS and Maguro Bussan.

Farewell, fantastic Fuuka!

Maybe it's just my imagination, but I get the impression from the articles-- and this CGI video news item at Youtube-- that they are implying catering to men who like the big girls is laughable and their preferences abnormal. Yet a matchmaking site consulted said that demand for chubbier women is higher than the formerly most-in-demand slender and "Lolita" types. Ms. Saito reportedly made about ¥400 million (over 4 million US dollars) in the three years since Max-Body opened in 2010... so it's not just us overseas, curious foreigners who were fans of Max-Body... SOMEBODY in Japan must love those big, beautiful girls!

Yukari at Max-Body

Yukari at her blog

On a side-note, online message board discussions of the case include speculation that the images at the site are heavily Photoshopped. I dislike Photoshopping when it's done to ridiculous extremes-- for example I've seen images of the already cartoonish Fuuko with her boobs expanded beyond physical possibility. My question is: Why? Also, when I see DVD cover images that promise more than the DVD actually delivers, I feel cheated. I'd probably feel cheated if I saw the images at this site, called up the service based on them, and the reality turned out to be far less enticing...

Airi's photo at Max-Body

Airi's photo at her blog

But, on the other hand, when one of these girls has a blog, with amateur pictures, they usually look much the same-- not as professionally slick, of course, but the proportions are comparable. Look at the two photos of the lovely Airi above, for example, or Yukari in the paragraph above. Sure, the blog photos are more life-like: harsher, rougher, with blemishes, and their boobs are pushed to the front focus, and the Max-Body shots obviously do have the models made-up, in fancy dress, in dreamy soft-focus, and no doubt a little photographic distortion... but still, even in the amateur shots, the girl's potential is all right there to see!... And regardless, for 99.99% of us overseas observers, there's no chance in Hell we're ever going to meet any of these ladies anyway. Even if the images are touched up and exaggerated a bit, they're not done to ridiculousness, and they are quite beautiful in and of themselves. So even if they're fantasy, those fantasy images are all the reality I'm ever going to get from the shop, and that's just fine with me.

Futaba of Max-Body

And so we must bid farewell to such lovelies as Asato, Airi, and Anzu, Yukari, Fuuka and Futaba... I think I join my readership in hoping the best for Ms. Saito and her bevy of bouncy beauties. Regardless of what she did or did not do, or the photographic accuracy of the images, by running the website attached to the club, she has provided overseas followers of her site with some spectacular fantasies and visions of bountiful feminine beauty. One of the Japanese reporters interviewed stated, “There is a magical power in heavy women.” Max-Body provided a service for this appreciative audience. I hope it's possible that Saito-san can open the site again... just resist the temptation to go "all the way" next time!

Another Look at Anzu of Max-Body

Today was a moderately productive day on the IMDB 1994 Pink film project. I added data to two existing film entries: Renzoku onanie: midareppanashi, and Zenshinsei kantai: Chôinran onna, and I submitted four new films: Chikan densha OL-hen: Shanai renai, Waisetsu kazoku: Oneesan o nozoke!, Stewardess: Midara na shisei-katsu, and Waisetsu fax honban OL tsûshin.

Tonight let's take another look at one of Max-Body's incredibly gorgeous specimens of feminine pulchritude, the amazing Anzu. We first visited Anzu back in February, and she's one we mean to follow closely. Max-Body seems to have the best collection of eye-popping BBW beauties in all of Dai-Nippon...

Anzu of Max-Body

My Pink film poster identifying project has settled into my morning routine, which works much faster than the previous afternoon half-hour. My studio filmography work has moved into Shintoho, on which I've moved into 1999 on title transliterations. I'm getting good ideas, I think, for making my Pink film blogs into real stand-alone references. And now that the huge, huge task of getting all those posted identified, uploaded and labeled is almost done, I may be able to start shaping the project up into a usable database...
Anzu
But to work here: Tonight's tour of Japan's soaplands brings us back to a shop we've visited at this blog many times: Max-Body. Here we meet Anzu (あんず), whom we have not encountered before, and why? I have no idea.
As these images show, Anzu is an absolute knock-out, easily in the same league as my other favorites at this shop-- Fuuka and Asato, whom we have visited often at this blog...
She stands 158 cm tall, and has a 140cm N-cup bust and 130cm hips. As with many of these big girls, she keeps her waist measurement secret. No need to be shy though, Anzu-chan!
How I could have missed this beautiful face, and heavenly body, I have no idea. Other than that the other girls caught my eye first... and I'm getting old and inattentive...

Fantastic Fuuka

My IMDb work continues apace. Today I finished translating the credits for 1992 Pink films into August, and I submitted films into May. At this rate, I'll probably finish 1992 well before my deadline of February 28. Whether to then continue straight into 1993 instead of waiting for March, or to spend the rest of February working on another IMDb-related task, I haven't decided yet... But down to business:

We've noted many times before what a truly top-notch collection of BBWs the soapland Max-Body offers, and we've introduced a few girls on occasion. But tonight lets take an extended visit with one of the most gorgeous ladies in their stable of voluptuous lasses, the one and only, mind-boggling, stupendous...
FUUKA!!! (ふうか) I haven't covered this girl here much yet, waiting to accumulate more images, but I find her to be just jaw-droppingly gorgeous. I have a few more images of her on my old, offline computer, but putting them online will take a bit of work, so I'll leave off on that until a later time. I spent this night's research time scouring the 'Net for new images of this unbelievably beautiful young woman, and it's going to be hard for me to resist posting every single image I find of this young lady!
You've seen her from the front, now say hello to her butt! We first met Fuuka in a post back in October 2011-- how time flies! I usually prefer more "mature" women-- Tamaki Yasuoka, Miyabi Hayama, Usagi Minagi are closer to my perfect age-range. So with her age reported between 25 and 27, Fuuka is a bit young for me. But she's got so much more that I like, that I hope she sticks around for a long time, to watch her age to perfection, like fine scotch.
Fuuka is not just a "BBW" in the sense I normally mean (heavy, not necessarily tall), she is a pretty tall girl, standing 173cm (5'8"). Her bust and hip measurements are a supernaturally impressive 143cm (56") and 145cm (57") respectively, with an O-cup bra. And it is quite obvious from these pictures that she has got a spectacular chest, and an equally spectacular butt.
Above is an image from a profile page of a Fuuka at the soapland Monroe. I have strong doubts that this is the same Fuuka, however, since her legs seem slimmer, her measurements don't match (but are close), and her blog mentions only Monroe, but not Max-Body. If this isn't our Fuuka, though, this Fuuka sure as Hell ain't bad either!
Unfortunately soapland sites tend to be squeamish of showing nudity, and on the rare times they do, either boobs or face or both are fogged out. Above, we have one of the rare pictures I can find of our Fuuka topless with her face also visible... Ah how I'd like to frolic amongst those flower petals...
A few video clips of Fuuka in motion can be seen around the 'Net. Besides her page at Max-Body, her profile at Fuuzoku Byuaraba (風俗情報ぴゅあらば) gives two brief video clips, one of which is also at fuutube.tv. Fuuka's friend and co-worker at Max Body, sweety-cutie Maika Sakura provides the above image of the two girls together in her blog. We first met Maika in my post reviewing Prometheus last June.
Before starting this blog I already knew most of my favorites-- Tamaki Yasuoka, Minagu Usagi, Hana Uehara, even Sara Aikawa, so Fuuka is probably the new "favorite" I've come across since starting this blog, in fact, if I remember right, her first appearance at Max-Body jolted me out of a brief retirement just to report on her.
This has been a short review of Fuuka's beauty, and I'll certainly continue watching for more images. I will come back to her at this blog again after I've collected enough further material for a decent-sized post.

Fuuka on DVD!?
PS (May 11, 2015): I've just discovered that there is a "Fuuka" on DVD: In Maguro's OONIKU-014 (above)... I'm not 100% sure this is our own Fantastic Fuuka, but it sure looks like her... and it means she is now immortalized at IMDb!

Oye Chika!

I finished catching up on posting to my Pink film archives and submitting to IMDb the new posters that I have found recently, and five Pink film entries went totally live at IMDb today. We haven't pilfered anything from our favorite soapland, Max-Body for a while, so why don't we look in there tonight? Let's give our old stand-bys, the ever-lovely reliables Asato, Masaki Amamiya, and Fuuka a rest and visit a new lady today.Chika is a spectacularly bosomy lady, but, unfortunately, another one of those models who insists on hiding her face. As you can see from the images decorating today's post, she more than compensates in the curve department what she hides in the face department. Max-Body's profile gives her an M-cup, with measurements 133-?-188, standing at 160cm.A bit too made-up and artificial for my tastes (for an example of my ideal, see yesterday's visit with Karen Toudou), Chika is nonetheless quite hefty and voluptuous. Put a pair of glasses on her, and some meat on those legs, lose the high-heels, and she'd be the perfect Dekkappedlian femme fatale... oh, and show her face... Which is all a round-about way of saying, I'd flip her in a nonce with relish.

Yukari Arrives

Max Body reports that a new lady has joined their ranks. The estimable Yukari, seen at right, is 38 years of age and sports measurements of 130(M-cup)-?-125(cm). Should any of my readers wish to follow her daily activities, here is a link to Yukari's blog.

The Great Wikipedia Blackout! or One Last Rant to Rule them All

Gentlemen, in sympathy with Wikipedia's blackout protest, I'll join in and bring the Web to its knees by strangulating the flow of information on Japanese softcore porn to IMDb for a day. Also I'll take a break from my Pink film archive work. It'll give me a chance to discuss a few things.

First, I find it somewhat ironic that Wikipedians claim sympathy with Google's message, "Please don't censor the Web", yet in their last few hours before blackout, they deleted (censored) an article in my realm of study: The award-winning, big-budget, independently-reviewed, 5th-anniversary DVD from Moodyz, A Queendom of the Eros. It meets their own "notability" criteria on several counts, but it's not notable because a few snobs choose to ignore their own rules and say it's not notable because, you know, we say it's not notable. So now it is gone!
[I thump my fist on my desk causing papers to fly about the room. I press the intercom.]

Oh, Miss Assssatoh! Could you step in here please. I seem to have inadvertendly dropped some paper... again...

Please don't mind my secretary, Miss Asato of Max-Body, while she cleans up a bit, gentlemen.

Now, my old Wikipedia cohort in Japanese erotic entertainment, Cherryblossom1982 started the A Queendom of the Eros article. I hope he notices that the more reliable, more honest IMDb now has one on it. Like anyone actually interested in contributing information, rather than playing power games, he too is long gone from Wikipedia.

Please step over to the piano, Miss Asato, while I finish this lecture. Feel free to tinkle a bit on the ivories a bit if the muse calls.

Gentlemen. Only the evilest people I have ever encountered on the Internet thrive at Wikipedia. Whether the Wikipedia system makes people this way, or whether it attracts those who are already warped, I don't know. Anyone who comes to honestly contribute sourced information leaves, while those who come to enforce their opinions stay. Those who remain are only there to save Wikipedia from itself, because they believe only they can do it. It is a haven for self-important, manipulative frauds with the narrowest, most self-deluded minds, the least tolerance of others, of humor and the least capacity for self-reflection. Wikipedia, which was founded on populist ideas like freedom of information has been overrun by lazy, elitist snobs and moralists of the cheapest order: Those who prop up their own shabby egos by sneering at the less "refined".

Gentlemen please! please look this way when I am speaking. There is no need to monitor Ms. Asato so carefully. She is quite capable of finishing her work without your attention, I assure you.

Ahem. Where was I? Oh yes. Even editors whom I once considered rational began following crackpot Wiki-cults like "Notability", either because they eventually became brainwashed, or they just got tired of fighting the nonsense. "Notability" has so taken over Wiki-think that we are now told that only information directly related to a subject's claim for "notability" belongs in a biography. Family, ancestry, ethnic background are not-- or should not be-- a part of a person's biography at Wikipedia. Wikipedia tells us that a biography is not be about a person's life, it is about a person's "notability". Just to check that I wasn't insane (one should check this occasionally), I picked up about a dozen actual biographies at random. You know, biographies... books about people's lives. Every one of them started out with family background and ancestry. Some even charted family trees-- Cruft! Some-- Good Gosh!-- even covered such Wiki-taboo subjects as religion and sexuality. You know, people's lives... So, yes, the Wikipedia community is insane.

Wait over there for a moment please, Miss Asato, while I change gears.

As I mentioned in my October farewell message here, I have changed gears in my online activity, reducing Wiki-type-work. I've been working on the Pink film archive(s) and at IMDb. I finished starting the first half-- uploading all my images of posters to films from 1990 to the present-- and have made a pretty good dent on the second half-- the pre-1990 films. Working backwards from 1990, I am now at the start of 1975. '75 seems to be a hurdle, since this year and the ones before it have several beautiful, large, poster images which will need a lot of touching-up before they're presentable-- watermarks removed, etc. (The more recent years have some pretty messy images too, but they're too small to bother cleaning unless a real article is to be started.) This, plus the fact that I've worked on this project non-stop for... what?... four months now? makes me feel like it's time for a little breather before making the final push. I'm running out of steam.

OK, you can wait over on the left now, Ms. Asato.

At IMDb I finished working on Sachi Hamano's filmography. The Grand Dame of Pink now has 159 films to her credit. (She's supposedly directed over 300, but that is all I could find listed in the main Japanese sources.) Now I've started adding/working on every Pink film released in a particular year. I finished 2011 and am now at 2010. Surprisingly, the 2010 films are already in IMDb. I've been adding role names and crew members, and linking to the posters in my Pink film archive.

Ah, Ms. Asato, I think a paper flew behind that couch there-- would you see if you can reach it? For the little work I did at IMDb last year, I received a "Happy New Year" note from Col Needham, General Mananger and co-founder of IMDb, with thanks and encouragement to contribute more. It was a form-letter email, of course, but still, far better than the treatment contributors receive at Wikipedia. Anything you contribute is immediate target for deletion, and has to be guarded and fought for. When on Jimbo Wales' talkpage I mentioned my over 600 article contributions, not one of which has (yet) been deleted, I was insulted by a non-contributing, opinionated idiot (Tarc). A user who contributes nothing to the project, and only argues and stirs up trouble would legitimately be branded a troll at any rational site. But Wales sat there and said nothing. Who does Wales thank? The only time I saw him go out of his way to thank an editor was when the prancing hypocrite Scott MacDonald created the biggest disruption of Wikipedia I'd ever seen, by speedy-deleting hundreds of unsourced biographies. And how does Scotty feel about the blackout? He opposes it because, you know, it disrupts Wikipedia to make a point. "In protest at this action [blah blah blah] I will cease contributing on an indefinite basis." If that's the only result of this blackout, then it is well worth it.

Fine job, Ms. Asato. You've earned a rest!
The evil trickles down from the top, gentlemen. Jimbo created this whole mess by not setting up any definitions, any real rules or guidelines himself. He has not made so much as a simple statement of what Wikipedia is. He famously claimed it to aspire to "The sum of human knowledge," yet it has now become accepted majority opinion that Wikipedia aspires to a minimal coverage of any topic. Recruiting new contributors is, in effect, only recruiting new victims. Even such "Pillars" as "Wikipedia is Not Censored" / "No Original Research" / "Neutral Point of View" are routinely subverted by subjective, fan-made rules like "Notability". This lack of any rules left the creation of rules to anyone who wanted to. So why work on articles? Without a set definition of the project, that is totally pointless work. The goals of the project, being undefined, can, and have been changed, resulting in the deletion of that work. Jimbo's other project-- Wikia, the Gulag created as an exile for those interested in contributing information rather than acting as barroom bouncers throwing out information-- is even worse. But I will save that rant for later. Don't worry Miss Asato, it's only worth one rant. I didn't invest anywhere near the time and effort there that I did at Wikipedia, so I've got a lot less to mull over.

Aw fuck it.
Contributing to Wikipedia is for chumps.
Only trolls whose only purpose is to harass the contributing suckers are welcome there.
And that is my last rant on the subject.

Hmm...
Hold that inspiring pose for a moment, Miss Asato, if you could, and I'll be right there!

Pocchari Pink? Inspiration strikes!

I spent last night adding birthdates and places to a couple dozen entries on Pink Film personnel at IMDb. Meanwhile, work at Dekkappai's Pink Film Archive continues. I suffered one minor set-back a couple days ago when Google deleted both my blogs and blocked my account. No explanation was given, but my guess is that it was because I was posting so much at the Pink Film Archive, and giving the posts seemingly random dates (I date the blog entry to the release date of the film, which is going to be a problem whose solution I haven't come up with yet once I start working on films made before 1970...). I guess I caught the attention of a spam-filter bot or something. Hopefully that's in the past now... The magnitude of the Pink film project is beginning to dawn on me. I've only finished 2011 (which is only half a year), and 2010 back to mid-2007, and just past the 200th post... Considering that I've got Pink-related stuff going solidly back to 1963, and tricklings of pre-pink stuff from earlier... I won't be lacking for things to do in my spare time for the next decade... (Gorgeous new discovery Fuuka [ふうか]from Max-Body above, left and below, right.)

Though I've always found these Pink films to be quite interesting, my eye must wander elsewhere for pocchari pleasure. Why not combine the two? Hey-- Yutaka Ikejima! Sachi Hamano! Mototsugu Watanabe! One of you guys make us a nice pocchari Pink film series, and we lovers of the full-figured Asian lady and interesting cinema will be eternally grateful. Though it may not be mainstream, BBW fandom in Japan seems to be quite strong already, and growing, so I think it's a viable genre for Pink film or two... And for possible star material? Well, obviously, there are the lovelies who grace the DVDs of IZM, JAMS, et. al., but let me refer you also to the fine establishment of Max-Body. There you can choose from potential star material such as our old bosom friend Masaki Amamiya, whom you see in the bath to the left, and whose shop page can be seen HERE, or from lovely newcomers like Fuuka, seen also in a clean mood above to the right, and all the way at the top of this post, to the left.
